The Yale School of Architecture Advanced Design Studios are offered to graduate architecture students in their final year of the M.Arch program, and represent a unique opportunity for students to collaborate with faculty members on intensive research and design projects. Over the years, members of GOA have led a variety of Advanced Design Studios, addressing topics such as the development of a new mass timber urban district in New Haven, designing mid-rise urban housing solutions for Helsinki using Circular Economic principles, and creating a new regenerative forestry campus in Northwest Connecticut.
